WELCOME DISNEY LOVERS TO THE TWISTED TALES BLOG!

I picked this series because I’m a Disney nerd! I even used to work for the Mouse. It was one of the best times of my life.

I know the classic stories inside and out. Which made reading this series so much more fun because this series flips the classics on their head. Each story asks the question “what if?” “What if” the story never happened the way we’ve always heard? What if Aladdin never found the lamp? What if Sleeping Beauty never woke up? What if Ariel never defeated Ursula? And the details and little easter eggs sprinkled throughout the books is so exciting for us nerds. Like finding a hidden Mickey in a place we’ve already looked a hundred times.

These are also super quick and easy reads. I’d love for you to join me in re-visiting our old favorites from a fresh perspective.

Happy reading Disney Lovers!

I’m a small-town gal living in a big city and working from home. I’ve always been a stickler for writing errors and I love to read so proofreading was a natural career choice. I love helping people perfect their product and give them the confidence to publish knowing it’s perfect. My background is in dance and theatre but nothing makes me happier than reading. I’ve lived all over the country and am familiar with many different American dialects and colloquialisms. I almost always defer to the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) when proofreading but will use another style if you prefer (e.g., the AP Stylebook). I’m also learning the Polish language! My partner of 6 and a half years is Polish and we are planning to move there in the near future (which won’t effect my ability to proofread for you). If you are a Polish speaker and need help with translations into English, I’m your gal!
