The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay is an absolute masterpiece. It is, again, one of those books I’m very glad I waited until adulthood to tackle, because I would not have had the patience for it and would not have appreciated all the references and nuanced characters in my youth.

As I stated in my “A Proofreader’s Guide to the Rory Gilmore Book Challenge” intro, I won’t be commenting on political pieces. BUT I will include here a passage from the book that I found relevant for all you Gilmore fans.

Alice in Wonderland is timeless.

I’ve read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland many times throughout my life. Each time I come away with a new perspective on the character and her surroundings.

I was first introduced to Huck Finn in 1995 with Disney’s Tom and Huck staring the adorable Jonathan Taylor Thomas and Brad Renfro.

1984 should certainly be required reading, as it only seems to get MORE relevant as time goes on. Which is a little crazy to think since it was written in the 1940’s.
